The Write to Law Project explores what happens when students start to write in law school. We'd like to know what helps and hinders this transition so colleges and law schools can help students make this transition smoothly. We hope this research will contribute knowledge about both the teaching of writing and the transfer of writing skills from one context to another.
If you are a first-year law student in an American university, we invite you to respond to a short online survey, which asks you to consider your transition from writing in college to writing in law school. The study can be completed any time between now and the beginning of the second year of law school. In the interest of obtaining responses while your first-year experiences are still fresh, I encourage you to complete the survey by the summer after your 1L year.
You can access the survey by clicking here or by going to the Participate page on this site.
